Hanlon Industries has wrapped up an amazing day at the @barwonhealthfoundation Run 4 Geelong, where we were once again major sponsors of the 10km race event.

Supporting our community and being part of this incredible event has become one of our favorite traditions. The energy, the spirit of the participants, and the collective goal to make a positive impact on our local health services leave us feeling inspired year after year.

Congratulations to all of the race participants, our Hanlon team members, and the Barwon Health Foundation for making this day a resounding success!

Weld Australia, Multi-Award Winners!

Last night, Hanlon Industries was named Company of the Year at the 2024 Weld Australia Welding Excellence Awards!

We also took home not one, but two Young Tradesperson of the Year awards!

A huge congratulations to our talented apprentices, Iesha and Ned! This achievement highlights your skills, dedication, and passion for the trade – and we couldn’t be more thrilled to see you recognised for it.
These awards also shine a light on our incredible workshop leadership team, who are passionate about supporting the next generation of tradespeople and fostering a culture of diversity in our teams.

To be recognised as Company of the Year is an honour and a testament to our team’s ongoing commitment to quality, innovation, and excellence in welding and fabrication.

We’d like to congratulate all the other finalists on their incredible achievements. It’s inspiring to be recognised among such talented and dedicated industry leaders, all pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in Australian manufacturing.

We are pleased to announce that Hanlon Industries

We are pleased to announce that Hanlon Industries QLD has officially achieved Transport and Main Roads (TMR) certification. This significant milestone highlights our focus on excellence, quality, safety, and compliance in all our operations.

In Queensland, TMR pre-qualification is mandatory for completing structural steel work for Transport and Main Roads projects. To be approved, it is essential to operate a quality system certified to AS/NZS ISO 9001 or ISO 3834. Although Hanlon Industries already complies with both ISO 9001 and ISO 3834, we underwent the full audit process of our workshop and systems to secure this certification.

This certification distinguishes us from our competitors, as only four other organisations in Queensland’s industry have reached this level of certification.

A huge thank you to our team, whose hard work made this achievement possible. This certification is a reflection of our current capabilities and our ongoing pursuit of quality.

As we move forward, we are excited about the opportunities this certification brings, assuring our clients that they can rely on our certified practices and our adherence to the stringent safety, quality, and environmental standards set by the Queensland Government.

The Best Practice Principles certification, as outlined by the Queensland Government, is a professional recognition of our expertise and dedication to improving business processes through systematic methods and best practices. This certification not only reflects our dedication to quality and safety but also reinforces our values of continuous improvement and commitment to delivering the best outcomes for our clients.

Our pre-qualification under the BPP provides a significant advantage to our clients when they submit tenders for Queensland projects. According to the Queensland Procurement Policy (QPP), there is a weighting for being approved or non-approved, which can influence the success of tender submissions. This means that by partnering with Hanlon Industries, our clients benefit from our certification, helping them to be more successful in their project bids.
